Hey everyone, I would like to get some honest feedback on this new product I am working on. When I show it to friends and family, the feedback is obviously biased, therefore I came here.

I would appreciate feedback on three things in particular. 1) How well do you understand the product based on the landingpage? 2) Do you see a need for it, maybe even for yourself? 3) What do you think about the design of the landingpage, what is good, what can be improved?

Thanks in advance to the community for helping out here! Cheers

Thank you so much, this was really helpful! I appreciate it.

Just found this article and wanted to share it. Super interesting stuff imho. Especially the linked sheet helped me.

I can simply just agree with this. Keeping a ToDo app as simple as a word doc or sth is sometimes the best way to set good habits.

Also, maybe have an excel file to not loose track of your projects. This article can be helpful as well https://review.firstround.com/ditch-your-to-do-list-and-use-...

I am working on something super basic, that I believe is still worth my time. It is just for me and my friends at the moment. I am creating a new flashcard app (how original :))

It is a combination of Anki, Quizlet and some other bigger apps. Taking their best features and turning it into one free app. I do not like to pay for a flashcard app, but Anki has really bad UX / UI and cloud features. On the other hand, the Quizlet algorithm is not great.

Therefore I am creating my own free app. Let's see where it goes. But one thing is clear. I do not want to make money of education.

I fully agree. Growth can only happen if the context is set right.

I would even argue that is why some bigger firms such as stripe have a rotation model where you can explore new jobs and positions within the company.

Have you told your boss about how you feel?

I would advise to look at your growth numbers and do user interviews. If you grow at least 20 % month over month - do not pivot. Because having a solid growth that is not linear connected to ad spend is something you should keep and rather improve than pivot. If you do not grow anywhere near that speed, a pivot might make sense. But there are so many factors that play into this.
