I have Bing Get MeThere in the Canadian app store as well, but it doesn't appear to search any Canadian addresses.

Went to BlackBerry Jam in Waterloo with a co-worker who did a co-op at RIM previously. They played a similar music video and the key joke from my co-worker was "The cost of that music video could've paid the salary of the guy who used to be beside me."

If this video gets the ball rolling in getting bb10 a chunk developer mindshare - and we are talking about it - then it's likely worth the cost.

For me, "BlackBerry 10" no longer sits on the "laughable boondoggle" shelf. Now it's on the "meltdown in progress" shelf. That's not better.

Bad publicity is not good publicity.

when was the last time a bad video inspired a bunch of developers to start working with the product?

why would this video get any ball rolling?

Not to mention, using high resolution graphics when only displaying at a lower resolution increases battery usage and lowers performance of the webpage.

The typography also drives me insane. Add some margin between headings and text, reduce kerning, get rid of p::first-letter { font-size: 200%; }

Apparently the theme was designed by these guys: http://www.tomsskylinedesign.com

I think the style on that page speaks for itself.

Complimentary to Introduction to Algorithms you might enjoy The Algorithm Design Manual (http://www.algorist.com/).

Taking a look at Amazon's past user interface and experience choices, I'd say they skipped every third idea to make the site simple and user friendly.

Like most articles, can't trust this one at all.

Gruber has some excellent thoughts (with actual reasoning) on this which contradict much of what this guy and his "source" is saying.

Yes but I could write this as

1 * 10^(-inf)

Agreed with GED.
