I asked gemini for the cost of power but it could be lying through its smirking sense of superiority and general all around disdain for the humans it will soon replace.
"The electrical cost to produce the same amount of light as a single standard candle is approximately $0.01 per year if run for 14 hours every day. In terms of energy consumption, a standard candle produces about 12.57 lumens of light, which can be matched by an LED bulb using only 0.1 to 0.2 watts."
those politicians want kids to carry around fully internet connected high def multimedia recording and production devices with access to the entire fucking world just in case something something
this is the solution, make internet 21+ and all these problems go away. kids have no business on the internet, there is nothing useful on the internet for kids.
I had a very attractive young woman ask me for a ride once, I turned her down for safety reasons, I didn't even have to imagine what bad things might happen, this is just common sense.
some of these articles seem bent on presenting solutions to anticipated or realized problems and I just find it so adorable that the articles authors think that the powers actually want to solve problems instead of just creating more of them haha
AI at once enables so much slop that it kills open bug bounty programs and at the same time finds actual problems. How can we enable the sorts of benefits that AI brings, like this awesome security work but block the slop that floods PR pipelines with bullshit?
AI will either have to be developed to validate these low value PR, or we need to block the slop. I propose that AI use be licensed and AI users have to provide proof of age, so to submit to these open ended bug bounty programs, the AI user has to upload a picture of a valid photo ID and post a $100 deposit with the bug bounty program, refundable upon finding a valid issue, if the issue submitted by the licensed AI user is bogus and low quality, their license is revoked and the key to their AI installation and / or access will be removed and they then have to attend a "defensive AI driving course" before submitting an application to be licensed and of course they forfeit their previous deposit and have to post another $100.
