First world problems ...

So they have academic research to prove nice guys finish last? If at least it was a Mythbuster research on the topic we would have some explosions.

In Australia the mandatory insurance will cover any third party medical bills. Any insurance to cover more than that (your medical bill, your property or third party property) won't pay you in case of negligence (drunk driving, knowing that the car was road unworthy etc).

May I ask what problem does your project solve?

Ugh, I'm trying to keep this anonymous-ish.

May I ask why you'd like to know?

Just looking for opportunities and ideas. Transplant your idea to another market, another industry ... and make 6 millions myself :)

Do you want to do a startup to make money or win a IQ competition?

What about approaching some charity? (1) You learn to listen to real customer (2) and should be a good networking

If not for charity there's also the possibility of doing something cheap for portfolio fodder. Then again, cheap seems to bring out the wrong type of person you want to work for.

You could also subcontract for someone you know that does web development. They get less work to do, you get experience, you probably still get paid.

I find its better to not work for cheap, either charge full price or work for free, demonstrate your value or donate time, dont undervalue yourself.

You can't separate work and lying ... if further explanation is needed, just check Feb 20 Dilbert!

Good idea. One suggestion: vary the colors of the columns. Green for quiet days, red for busy days.

The size of the columns already indicates that. I think varying the colors as well would be confusing.

Disagree. It's the whole point of the page, so it isn't excessively redundant if you say it more than one way... I'd just put a single column that's a different color (ie, green) for the best day, maybe with an embedded checkmark or some other indicator for the color blind.

Google "comparison chart" and see how <a href="http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://printgreener.com/... facets</a> can inform a viewer in a simple way.

I don't think the checkmark for colour blind is needed (the colours are supplementary, not essential).

1. The URL - would be better if it's a dedicated domain name (e.g. whenshouldigo.com).

2. I agree with the parent about the color coding. It might be more clear if you use a red-green spectrum for each day (e.g. red for the evening, when things might be more busy, and green for the morning, when things might be less busy).

The problem with that is that it forces a negative opinion on busy days. What if people like to go where other people are?

Here's my suggestion: ditch the black borders on the columns and add very subtle shadows.

I really dig the idea, by the way.
