As someone working with drone lidar (and AI), I was certainly mentally tripped for a bit.
The fact that they added a disclaimer as the first part of their readme about another project with the same name says they should probably just change the project name.
Eh, didn't even Microsoft give up and just shipped a React-based start menu at one point? The range of "native" on Windows 11 is quite wide - starts with an ancient Windows 3.1 ODBC dialog box.
I feel like a legion of blind computer users could attest to how bad accessibility is online. If you added AI Agents to the users of accessibility features you might even see a purposeful regression in the space.
Something I try to explain to people I'm getting up to speed on talking to an LLM is that specific word choices matter. Mostly it matters that you use the right jargon to orient the model. Sure, it's good and getting the semantics of what you said, but if you adjust and use the correct jargon the model gets closer faster. I also explain that they can learn the right jargon from the LLM and that sometimes it's better to start over once you've adjusted you vocabulary.
