> That must be unacceptable to any sovereign government.

Is it OK for a French sovereign government if a German government can demand access to its data?

You're literally describing the worst thing about the quartz watches. The best of them (aka most expensive) go to really great lengths to not have any momentum. Why would you want to have it when not needed?

because it's fun

Here's a request to not have ticking :) Time is flowing constantly and seconds are a human invention.

There is toggle on top left to choose between tick / sliding seconds.

Does the increase in gray matter volume cause a halt of inhaling essential oils?

But then it could end up in the Supreme Court [0].

Above certain amount of shareholders, the rules for the public companies start applying, so you get all of the disadvantages of being a public company (like SEC filings, etc.) without the advantages (like ability to raise money.) IIRC this is what forced $MSFT to do IPO in 1986.

Just a thought: "AICDC" would probably be more searchable.

But that wouldn't be Australian ! https://www.acdc.com/

In addition to vertical scrolling, the Magic Mouse can do horizontal (or diagonal) scrolling, zooming in and out, and a couple of other tricks. This makes it worthy for the people who need this for their work. There are mice that can do horizontal or vertical scrolling -- but not both at the same time.

People who do their work on large documents (pics in Photoshop, videos, CAD, music, even Excel, etc.) use these capabilities every day, and they like their Magic mice very much. If you are not one of these people (software development, for example, can be done with vertical scroll only, for the most part), it doesn't mean it's a bad product -- all it means it's a product which is not for you.

I don't use Magic Mouse but am very far from expecting Apple to admit "the magic mouse was a mistake" though.

Not only that: it's impossible to report on everything that happened, so any outlet only reports on the important stuff. What is and what isn't considered important is a matter of bias, too.

All true. But you can choose what and how you report in order to give one side a boost, or you can choose what and how to report in order to give the best, most accurate picture you can of what's actually going on. The difference matters.

Yeah, nobody ever does it perfectly. But trying to do it right rather than trying to do it wrong surely means that you'll come closer to doing it right.

... for the native speakers of English which not all the people in the world are.
