Ah I am still running such a thing: a wonderful piece of software I wrote in the 90s w/ FoxBase.
But here’s the nice thing: I converted everything in a Flask app with React frontend.
The nicest thing is that besides using a modern relational DB, I write everything to keep old db files synced so that I can still run the old app in DosBox…and keep the new stuff in Docker.
We tried to rescale one of our VM hosted by Hetzner Cloud server infrastructure.
Unluckily it seems we can't!!!
Incredibly it is taking more than 6 months to solve the problem: I understand that expanding a data centre and hardware supply might be hard, but hey!!!
Has anyone else run into this problem, any workaround besides moving off Hetzner (no, please)?
Can you move VMs between data centers? The ticket indicates issues mostly with Germany, and less with Finland, USA and Singapore. Depending on your where your users are, these locations might incur some latency penalty, though.

It works, flawlessly:-)
