My one non-negotiable requirement when finding a place to live in Singapore (Well, two after Air Conditioner) - isn't an oven, or hot water in the kitchen, or even my own washroom - but I won't live more than 15 minutes walk away from a major bus route or MRT station. The government is working hard to make that a reality for the entire population.
