I think and hope in the not-so-long-run FreeCAD will be serious competition for traditio9nal mainstream/enterprise CAD. That being said, I do agree with some on the fact that the UI needs a little work, and improved tutorials.

Do you know if it's possible to export a house plan in FreeCAD to use on AutoCAD? I need to draw the 2D floors of my house and send to an architect who is using AutoCAD..
