Headless MythTV Backend on a low power m1max-64GB with 8 USB3.1 ports would be perfect. I sure as hell would never run a mission critical data processing app on those chips, but like Amiga, they are built for A/V, ML and rendering workloads…and they don’t draw much nrg or generate much heat, which is important in a household setup.
I have fond memories of using MythTV. It was a great alternative to Microsoft Media Center. Automatic advertisement removal, great scheduled recording capabilities. As most of this functionality comes with your TV or settopbox today, I wonder how popular MythTV is today.
