I thought part of the reason to go to the Fediverse was to associate with the kind of people who LEFT Twitter, not to bring all your Twitter tweeps to a platform with fewer features.
"platform with fewer features" does not sound right, fediverse microblogging apps (there are many of them) are implemented on the rich W3C ActivityPub standard. It's not a platform, it's a huge and vibrant distributed ecosystem.
Twitter is (just) a very popular, proprietary microblogging platform.
I don't care about the real function of this website (don't use Twitter/Mastodon), but we should get UN to mandate that every website from today onwards must use this Windows 98 installer style for everything. I love it.
