It seems like the Fitbit app and website have recently started pushing the move to Google a little harder. Is there any privacy-respecting, open, full-featured fitness tracker out there today?
There won't be. Those who are skittish about their health are a prime target for advertising, anyone who gathers data on those people will inevitably sell it on when money gets scarce.
