yep this is a physical problem as much as it's logical. but I'm very much an abstract systems thinker.

it reminds me of lean wastes... kinda.

organizing better and having autonomous units of work would be more efficient than bottlenecking decisions to a shared resource.

this applies to social systems the same as physical ones, for sure.
