I'm just glade they stuck to their guns and didn't do a google and kill steamOS/linux development when steam boxes didn't take the world by storm.

The steam deck allows me to play basically every game I've ever purchased since I was a kid on one pretty user friendly device, I just wish anticheat would jump onboard.

Only if people (end-users) actually care. If you're trying to build against the momentum but misjudge your values for the community values, then you're in for a disappointment.
