Off-topic but how do you disable Google Chrome Helper?

For me it was opposite. Over 50 seconds for HTTP! With a little more than half a second for HTTPS. Tried it 3 times.

Mac OS X 10.10.1 Safari Version 8.0 (10600.1.25.1)
